Q. How do I select an erasure method?

A. Click on the Wrench and Screwdriver Icon, then use the dropdown arrows to select and erasure method for each protocol type. Within XErase methods are classified as ATA HDD, SCSI HDD, ATA SSD, and SCSI SSD. You must select a method for each protocol. Once selected, hit the update arrow to set the selection to active.
