Q. I use my own ERP System that has an API.  How do I integrate that with XErase or LCServer?

A. To accommodate HTTP POST based APIs, EPS developed an API Scripting Tool in LCServer.  This tool allows you to create a script using a simple user interface and even run it and get debugging information that shows the data sent to and returned by the API.  Once you’ve got a script that does what you want, it can be used in XErase in several different places …

1. Startup (before the interface launches on a laptop, desktop etc.)
2. After diagnostics are executed on an asset
3. Right before erasure as a Pre-erasure event
4. Right after erasure as a Post-erasure event

#3 and 4 above can also be used for loose drive erasure in addition to in-asset erasure.
